Fire Place Safety
Bicycle Helmet Safety As the weather warms up a lot of people head outdoors to enjoy cycling, rollerblading, and other wheeled sports. With easy access to the centennial trail, a paved trail that leaves the city of Snohomish, travels north through farmland, wetlands, and fields; passing through Lake Stevens on a rough dirt path that runs through rural and wooded country you are sure to be out there with your kids. Don't forget about the importance of a helmet, remember the best way to teach is leading by example. Most accidents will occur within one mile from your home so make you have a helmet on for a quick lap around the block. You want to make sure that helmets are properly fitted and sung with the right amount of padding.
Don't put your kids at risk just because of the price of the helmet. Come down to station 68 and we will provide you with a free helmet from SAFE KIDS! We also are excepting monetary donations for this program so we can help those who need it.
